We’re passionate about our coffee and know better than to get between people and their morning brew. It was critical we get the circulation right to keep the java flowing.
Our design centered around a striking marble island, inlaid with bronze, which facilitated seamless customer flow. The high-traffic areas featured a combination of bleached polished concrete and chevron oak flooring, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal. Cornflower blue, adds a touch of serenity and sophistication to the overall aesthetic.
We paid particular attention to the trash and recycling area, as well as the self-service coffee station. To prevent confusion and maintain a clean environment, we carefully designed these spaces to clearly differentiate between whole milk, oat milk, and paper and plastic waste.
The overall design exudes elegance and sophistication. This refined ambiance is complemented by rounded glass tables in a caramel hue, cantilevered from the bench, creating a modern and inviting atmosphere.
Ideally located between a residential building and an office tower, the space is both a place where baristas will know your morning order and where everybody knows your name.

In the late afternoon the Ampersand’s menu and mood transitions from morning to evening, inviting guests to linger and enjoy time with friends.
Anticipating our customers' busy days ahead, we stocked the refrigerator with a variety of fresh and healthy "Grab and Go" options. Savory delights like wraps and salads, alongside sweet treats such as yogurt parfaits and fruit cups, provided convenient and nutritious choices.
As the day progresses the restaurant transforms from a morning coffee haven to the perfect place to share a drink with a friend. The lighting dimmed, and the general globe lights were replaced with spotlights, creating an intimate and inviting ambiance. Baristas gave way to bartenders, and the pace shifted to a leisurely and relaxed rhythm. The pastry counter evolved, showcasing a carefully curated selection of artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and gourmet chocolates. This dynamic hub is a familiar and inviting destination throughout the day.
